On Saturday, Dec. 6, self-taught Israeli-French sculptor Idan Zareski showcased his Big Foot Family series at Markowicz Fine Art Gallery's new pop-up gallery in Miami Beach. The gallery will be open until January 31, 2015. The event was also co-hosted by Villa Azur Restaurant and Lounge.
The exhibit included new “family members” to the series – Grandpa Foot, Grandma Foot and Le Siffleur (The Whistler).
According to Zareski, the series promotes peace, cultural awareness and tolerance. Zareski currently works out of Costa Rica.
His work travels around the world,
including France, Monaco, Switzerland, Italy, Costa Rica, Colombia and the
United States.
