On Saturday, Dec. 6,
House of Art showcased "We Live Here 2", an exhibit by Madrid-based advertising and
industrial photographer Miguel Vallinas. This was another great event that House of Art hosted during Miami Art Week 2014.
Based on Vallinas’ photographic exhibit, Second Skins, which imagines clothes animals would choose for themselves if they could, We Live Here 2 shows an anthropomorphic blend of animals, fashion and the human form.
Not only does Vallinas attribute clothes to the animals, he also portrays the types of personalities he imagines they would have. The artist looks at a variety of animals, including a few species of bird such as bustards, flamingos and vultures; swans; doe; stag; and more.
