On Thursday, Dec. 4, House of Art
held an exclusive Vernissage in honor of the 20 students chosen to exhibit from
Miami Arts Charter School (MAC), located in Miami and Homestead, FL. The
exhibit
Part of the proceeds from the
exhibit will benefit the House of Art Youth Program. One of the highlights of
the evening was the spectacular performance offered by the 3 young musicians
from the MAC Band, which was the entertainment for the evening. The talented
trio mesmerized event guests with upbeat jazz and R&B musical
pieces.
MAC provides a rigorous academic
education with special emphasis placed on the performing and expressive arts to
help foster and propel students’ artistic creativity and excite them about life
itself.
